2006 -------
Temporary space for database operations is using resources in the Windows User
Profile (default), even though Open Office is configured to use Temp space
elsewhere.

In my case Temp is set to D:\temp but opening a large database results in
swamping "c:\Documents ...\user..." until it crashes (I have only 2GBytes free
on C:).
Program Install Paths are standard.

All document paths are set to non-default (network) paths.
Palettes, Templates, User Configuration and User-defined dictionaries are the
only paths that remain pointing to the User Profile.

I am reduced to using Access (I hope temporarily)- Bob von Knobloch.
