I'm using a mysql database with the jdbc connector. When a new table is added to
the relationship editor it will never show a relation that is created but will
still create the relation in the database. If the relationship editor is closed
without saving and then reopened the relations can be changed without any
trouble. But if the relations were saved before it is impossible.

To me this seems to be a problem with the names of the small table windows.
Windows that behave properly are named Database.Tablename, while those that
don't show relations are named Tablename only.

I tried the same with a developer snapshot of 3.0 and had the same problem.

I hope the explanation in this report is explicit enough to understand what the
Problem is.
