Has anyone successfully installed DBD-SQLAnywhere-1.16 on a HP-UX??? I
have two questions:
1. Did you have to add more to the Path contained in sa_config.sh or
sa_config.csh
2. What did you have to do with the Database to get another machine to
see the database with "dblocate"???
Thank You
MySQL is pretty close to SQLAnywhere (original name SyBase). Anyone
working with DBD-SQLAnywhere-1.16???
Would like to contact someone who does..
Thank You
Rich

John,
Is this the last release candidate???
I'm ready to put it to bed as DBD::Oracle 1.20 final on a HP-UX B.11.23 U

On the normal PA-RISC machines running 11i V1, I'm now failing in "make"
after "perl Makefile.pl -l" with latest gcc 4.2.2 with the follo
Runs fine with DBI 1.61, Perl 5.8.8, g.c.c.4.2.2 and Oracle 10g under
HP-UX B.11.23 U ia64 as is out of box. make test passed..
This is a ia64 hp server rx2660.

What Oracle did you test this against???I'm hoping 10g.I still
can't get the 'make test' to work in 1.19. Make perl and make is fine
after we found the type in the perl file if you recall from previous
emails.
Thank You

Re: DBD need to finish..
Tim,
As I understand it you are the head person for this area of DBI and
DBD::Oracle. We had a lot of help from both Merijn and Handly in finding
typo error in the original perl Makefile.pl and that works great now.
We desperately need to get by the "make test" part and any suggestion from
ail for such purpose.

Alexander,
I've gotten DBD::Oracle to pass the Makefile.PL successfully and ran the
resulting make successfully. This is using DBD::Oracle 1.19, Perl 5.8.8
with DBI 1.50 in it. The compilier is GCC 4.2All of the softwa
