Hello,
you have to look for "Development Kit" (9.x) or "Programmer" (8.x).
In 9.x it's "Oracle Call Interface (OCI)"

Hi,
I'm trying to build DBD::oracle on a windows 2000 machine. It fails
because it can't find the oci directory. I've only got the minimal
oracle setup on the pc, the databases I want to access are on solaris
boxes (one is solaris 7 and the other solaris 8, will this cause any

have perl 5.8.0 (compiled from scratch) working very well with FC1 on my

Hi, everybody!
I have to work with FireBird database, for a project of mine.
I grabbed from CPAN a DBD-InterBase (version 0.43) to work with, and
installed it on Windows. It works perfectly.
I also installed it on Red Hat 9 at my work place and it works very well.
