Having just built the DBD-Oracle on IRIX 6.5 last night, I can
comment a little.
Oracle 8.0.x libraries are o32. Oracle also provides what it
calls the Oracle SGI N32 Client Toolkit, which are 8.0.5
libraries that are n32.
Oracle 8.1.x libraries are n64, but again, Oracle provides an N32
client
