Hello all,

I'm trying to get DBD-mysql-2.1017 compiled on AIX 5.1
using gcc 2.9, and I'm having problems (the DBI
package is DBI-1.30). I've checked the archives, and
although I saw several entries very close to this one,
I did not find a true resolution to the problem.

The DBI compiles just fine, but here's the message
that I get when compiling the DBD:

gcc: unrecognized option `-qmaxmem=16384'
gcc: unrecognized option `-q32'
gcc: unrecognized option `-qlonglong'
Running Mkbootstrap for DBD::mysql ()
        chmod 644 mysql.bs
        LD_RUN_PATH="/usr/lib/mysql:/lib"
/usr/bin/perl myld ld -o
blib/arch/auto/DBD/mysql/mysql.so  -bhalt:
4 -bM:SRE
-bI:/usr/opt/perl5/lib/5.6.0/aix/CORE/perl.exp
-bE:mysql.exp -b noentry -lC -lc  dbdimp.o  mysql.o
   -L/usr/lib/mysql -lmysqlclient -lz -lcrypt -lm
        chmod 755 blib/arch/auto/DBD/mysql/mysql.so
chmod: blib/arch/auto/DBD/mysql/mysql.so: A file or
directory in the path name does not exist.
make: 1254-004 The error code from the last command is
1.

Stop.

Can anyone help me out here?

Thanks!
