OK I see your problem, you must be using the snorql endpoint (http://
dbpedia.org/snorql/) which has PREFIX dbpedia2: dbpedia.org/property/> pre defined. Setting this for the Virtuoso
SPARQL endpoint enable me to see your issue also, so more to be

When I run your queries as is against the DBpedia SPARQL endpoint
(http://dbpedia.org/sparql) they fail with the error:
37000 Error SP030: SPARQL compiler, line 8: Undefined namespace
