It is strange because we use the exact same version. Maybe it is a temporary maven repository issue or something in your system configuration Can you checkout the code from github? git clone git://github.com/dbpedia/extraction-framework.git delete your .m2 folder rm -rf ~/.m2 and try again? mvn
