(simple-enough) templates but it is in no way generalized.
That's why consumer-grade projects consuming Wikipedia data either:1) Scrape
Wikipedia HTML pages directly: i.e. template interpretation is done by

inferences/validations.

This is an error in Wikipedia not in DBpedia, you can correct it by editing
the source of the Melbourne Wiki page.

information correctly [3], causing some places from the southern hemisphere

Confirming that I can no longer find the template information in the
raw_infobox_properties_en.nt file.
Is this information now available somewhere else?

That's consistent with previous analysis I ran directly on Wikipedia EN
data dumps.
The overall number of infoboxes in Wikipedia EN has consistently been
around 45-50% of the total number of article pages (i.e. 4.2M) for the
past 3 years.
I don't know about other languages.
