It would be better if the DAT's were transferred directly to computer. This
is easily done with affordable hardware and software. Then the entire
distribution can be just exactly perfect. I do this sort of thing
professionally preparing live recordings for radio broadcast. 

I'd also like to see more attention paid to proper dithering when any level
changes are made.

I'd be happy to do some Dead shows if I had access to the DAT's.:)
