There was never a Civic Auditorium in Santa Barbara. Michael Redmon Director of Research, Santa Barbara Historical Museum says so after digging for a photo. There are Civic Auditoriums in both Oxnard and Lompoc, an hour away.

This was free show that took place on Foss Hill, not the Bacon Field House. The "sloping lawn behind the administration building" is actually called "Foss Hill.
