Title: Winterland 4/15/70 additional personnel
The guitar player is unlikely to be Neil Schon - he
didn't join Santana until much later in the year (Nov/Dec?)
Must go back and take another listen to this
gem!

Thanks to Hanno Bunjes, I have the great-sounding, newly circulating shn's
of this show (previously identified as 11/23/70) - thanks Hanno!
my question is, does anyone else feel the quoted setlist is wrong? The text
file lists as follows,
Disc 1
01. Bill Graham intro>Casey Jones [05:01]
02. Me
They did indeed play a Spanish Jam on this date - available in all its
glory, remastered from the original SBD cassettes, on Dicks Picks, Vol. 6!
It is labelled as "Spinach Jam" for some perverse reason on the cover (cf
the "Mud Love Buddy Jam" on Dozin' At The Nick)

Chris,
Interesting that it's 5/8/77 you pick out - there are, of course, TWO

uncut board tape doing the rounds.
Perhaps you've got the new version on
This is not a tape/CD request, because I know to use the Resources for
Traders site for that.
Listening to 4/8/71 the other day, I weas struck by
the fact that there appear to be TWO keyboard players. Although Pig's Hammond is
v.low in the mix for most of the show, there are certain momen
Stu,
The exact same problem occurs on my copy and, I
know, on the copy of the guy I traded it from.
It seems likely that
all circulating versions are the same...(unless we're all branches from the one
poor burner??)
