Wasn't that bleed-through from the 2-cass gen tape? I believe it was probably bleed-through from what was recorded on the tape prior. I seem to recall being told that 2nd gen tape was made on some crappy equipment, likely with a cheap (i.e. used) tape. Or maybe it was just a dream. It's been a

Having been personally responsible for doing the cassette-to-DAT transfers of both the one- and two-cassette generation lineages that circulate for this show, I can assure you that what we have is from soundboard reel masters, NOT any broadcast. Where on the tape is a WMAL station announcement?
