in these missing persons cases all have some connection to a GD concert.
In the 1973 Bonita Bickwit and Mitchell Weiser were
planning to hitchike to a Grateful Dead concert in Watkins Glenn and that was
the last of them. They are both still missing.
and Sept 6 1986 In Illinois police found an
unidentified 16-21 year
old girl strangled and investigative reports that there was a lead that
the victim may have been a follower of the rock band The Grateful Dead, and
was in the metro-east because she was hitchhiking to the band's next concert.
She is still not Identified
And Briget Pendell was reported missing in 1996 from Kansas and has not be located according to
the missing persons cold case network.
"Pendell-Williamson was following the band
Grateful Dead around the country when she disappeared; she had been
doing that for several years prior to her disappearance."
Doug Simmons from North Carolina has been missing since 1990
"Simmons was last seen at a Grateful Dead concert on
July 10, 1990 in Raleigh, North Carolina"
In Virginia a traffic accident killed an unidentified young man with red hair in
June of 1995. He has not been identified.
"He also had two ticket stubs to a Grateful
Dead concert at RFK Stadium in Washington, D.C. on June 25,
1995."
In California in April of 1995 Cengiz never returned
home and was reported missing.
Nuray was last seen on April 27, 1995 at Greyhound
Rock Beach in Santa Cruz, California. He was with a group of Greatful Dead
followers. He went for a walk and left his belongings with his friends on the
beach and has not been seen or heard from since.
which now I have to get some verification if dates
are wrong or the concert information was wrong or how they got Grateful Dead
Concert out of it...
