I noticed that deadlists indicates the Dead played from 9/26/69 to 10/6/69 with only one night off (9/28/69). 9/26-27 were at the Fillmore East, 9/28 - 10/1 were at the Cafe Au Go Go in NYC, 10/2-4 in Boston, 10/5 in Houston, and 10/6 at the Family Dog on the Great Highway. Whew!
I'm wondering if they actually played Boston those dates. Though there is a very nice poster for the shows there are no setlists for them at deadlists. For one thing, taking those nights off would be more sane, and for another playing 10/4 in Boston and 10/5 in Houston sounds ridiculous, especially since the Houston show was apparently during the day. Does anybody know for certain if they played in Boston those dates? Iver
