I think, it's all about ambience - if it's good, it's fun to present something
and a lot of people will do it.
If it's not, it's rather unpleasant, so people will remain silent.
Of course it helps to have a fire and things like this
and if there are people that can presend something ad hoc

Probably too late to ask, but anyway. I've got sore throat, has anyone

I have ibuprofen, aspirins and paracetamol, if that can be of
help. I'm on the dining hall terrace, but I could lose wifi if I move
later on the night.

Please do **NOT** cut the cheese today. If you cut it 24h in advance it
will dry. Lets take a larger time spann / more people tomorrow. As far
as I know that worked out at each CW party (grand cheese wine master

I'd like to help. I'm still unsure which role is adequate: I've no
experience whatsoever with video.
What role would you recommend?
For first try: First camera.
But there is also video team training

I didn't understand the point of the yelling at people to stand-up when

the black hole in the hack lab has sucked up quite some stuff:

- a black/yellow usb stick

From the description it looks like the coordinator would also do the
traditional talkmeister tasks.

coordinator is meant to be a videoteam role with the following tasks:
Hi,
Are adapters needed for US type [B] powerplugs
to fit into [A] connectors at the venue?
And are they available either in Managua or in NYC?
(lacking the right name, I call them B2A Adapters)

You can buy these B2A adapters here in Managua. At the shopping mall
close to the venue they should be available. Anyway, we probably will
have some at the front desk buyable for the purchase price.
Great, so no need to cripple US plugs to get power ;)
Tricky question. That makes you an harder to catch target, for

My understanding is that those of us that are staying off-campus aren't
permitted in the dorms, so that may not work out so well. Is that an

The policy, they told to me was:
You can enter, but someone staying there has to sign you in,
