Hello,
Now that BRLTTY starts durring boot on my Lenny system, I want access
to Gnome via Orca.
I installed Gnome via Tasksel, then I installed the gnome-orca
package, and tried to run orca from a console to get to the Orca
text-based setup.
And that gave me a bunch of errors:

As you indicated in another mail, /etc/rcS.d/S25brltty is also present, right?
That's correct.
Where does it point to, i.e. what does "readlink /etc/rcS.d/S25brltty" say?
It points to "../init.d/brltty".

If we could get a "Desktop accessibility" entry into Tasksel, all the
needs for blind persons are in place.

Hello again,
Since the installation CD's now contain a boot menu, how is it

Hello Mario, and thanks for the updated info about the Norwegian braille table.
I've used both a Handy Tech Braille Star with a USB connection, and a
Braillex EL-80 with a serial connection.
BRLTTY didn't start in both cases.

Hello,
I've installed Debian Lenny with the NetBoot image.
I got braille support durring the installation, but I didn't got the

I've specified the "no-p" table.
I used the same parameters as in Etch, brltty=driver, port, table
