The udev problem with the missing accept4 syscall on Alpha is now fixed.
 Before allowing udev to upgrade you must first upgrade your kernel to
the latest available and boot into the new kernel, so I suggest the
following:

apt-get install linux-image-3.2.0-1-alpha-generic

(Obviously replace generic with the variant of the kernel that you
prefer to use.)

Edit /boot/etc/aboot.conf then reboot into the new kernel.

Then you can run apt-get dist-upgrade.  Make sure you get at least
version 2.13-24+b1 of libc6.1. (Version 2.13-24 of libc6.1 won't work.)
