Make boot and then just gzip kernel.
Hi.
You can look busid with lspci, if your videocard is in PCI slot.
I had to add BUSID too to XF86Config-4 to get X work.
Eg.
Output from lspci:
:00:0c.0 VGA compatible controller: 3Dfx Interactive, Inc. Voodoo 3
(rev 01)
Now add BusID to XF86Config-4:
BusID "PCI:0:0c:0"

I don't remember, but there might be version command or similar.
MILO also prints its version when it has loaded up and is in prompt.

I recommend ghostview or xpdf.
No need to install Acrobat anymore, since I never got it run fine.
Always something weird behavior or not working at all.

Hi.
I'm have strugling this problem for couple months, does anyone else have
this problem.
When I start XFree86, it shows this message:
Couldn't load XKB keymap, falling back to pre-XKB keymap
Now, when I try to make eg. at-sign, alt-gr+2 won't do it, pressing those
won't do anything.
And layou

Try this, it worked with my XL266,XLT300 and PWS433:
boot fd0:/linux.gz root=/dev/fd0 load_ramdisk=1
Now you need two floppies, root and ramdisk.
or root=/dev/scd0 (scsi cdrom)
Hello.
I'm running testing in my alpha.
After dist-upgrade I cannot compile kernel modules anymore.
If I build eg.network drivers directly to kernel not modules, they work
just fine.
Modules seems to compile, but when running depmod I get this:
depmod: Unhandled relocation of type 10 for .text

Hi.
I recently updated my system with apt-get dist-upgrade.
All went fine but when I started X I noted that alt-gr doesn't work
anymore.
Eg. I cannot get emails at-sign which comes from alt-gr+2 in finnish
keyboard layout.
I readed some posts from other lists and google, there where some pointer
