is there a programm like valgrind for the amd64 architecture?
I need a tool that show me some memory-leaks and speed issues in my own
programms.

Currently the dynamic versions depend upon libc6-i386, which
gives me about 24 MByte in the /emul directory. Just for the
boot loader installation program?

The latest grub version in the amd64/gcc-3.4 archive,
which I uploaded a few minutes ago, should be statically linked again.

The FX5200 may just not be up for it. Afaik, FX5200 is basically a
GF4MX440 upgraded to support DX9 features. A good GF3 card could quite
possibly outperform your FX5200.
No it is truly a GeForce FX chip, but a very minimal one. Same basic
design as the 5600/5700 supposedly (4 pipelines)
