Greetings,
I installed Debian on my HP xw8200 (EM64T based) workstation via the
sid-amd64-netinst.iso image. The install went fine, but the network
doesn't appear to be working correctly when I try and 'apt-get update'
or even use wget to download a file. The transfer starts, and then

I'm not sure this the best advis, but to solve this, I got rid of package
debsig-verify.
without this package verification isn't done, so all packages are installed
regardless of sig.
Don't know why sigs check fail. may be because the amd64 packages aren't
signed by the authors.

It's the ps2 mouse sending events to the /dev/input/mice device as well
as /dev/psaux. I've seen this happen a few times on distros that are
designed to use the 2.4 kernel where the psaux events are only sent to
/dev/psaux ..

Thanks. My XF86Config-4 had an entry for both "Configured Mouse" and
"Generic Mouse"

Hello,
I have an Athlon 64 3000+ and a matrox P650-graphics-card. (I can provide
information on the rest of the hardware if you need it).
At the moment, I´ m running a 32-bit-Debian.
Now, I wonder if installing a 64-bit-Debian makes sense on my system. I didn´t
find any information on 64-bit-X-
