It seemed to be moved away from alioth also but I cannot find it at

Goswin, thanks for the advice. However, I am not smart enough to
understand what it means. The apt-get program will not let me do
anything without resolving the dependency problem that arose because
libc6 was not corretly installed.
Here is what I tried:

I have some questions about VMware.
I installed it via apt-get in the ia32-chroot part but when I try to
turn on the application,
it complains about /dev/vmmon...
Could you tell me how to install the vmmon and vmnet modules?
Is it not possible to install a 64-bit version of VMware?

Sorry Castillo, that did not solve the problem. I had already removed the ia32

Hi,
I had the same problem with the chroot (ia32) libraries
I have solved it, by commenting the "chroot i386 system libs" entries in the
/etc/ld.so.conf file. And running "apt-get upgrade -f".
You must do that before uncommenting "chroot i386 system libs entries" and
running ldconfig.

Hello all
I keep getting segfaults from spamd. Is anyone experiencing similar
issues?
I am using pure64 sid.
Segfaults looks like this:
spamd[8059]: segfault at 00f0 rip 00373ca16e3b rsp
7390 error 4
spamd[8060]: segfault at 00f0 rip 00373ca16e3b rsp
When adding the new mirror. dist-upgrade wants to "upgrade" many installed
packages... with ones of the same version!
I saw that my /etc/apt/preference was causing unnecessary upgrades, when
pinning to the "wrong" d=NAME .. Maybe only put a=testing or a=unstable
there?!
The "d" obviously changed
