touchpad conflicts with mouse

Hi, I have a notebook sis. If I set as CorePointer touchpad, only touchpad works. If I set mouse as CorePointer, in kdm mouse and touchpad work, but when I login in KDE, touchpad is stopped (ksynaptics cannot restart it). I have tested with XFree 4.3.0 and Xorg 6.8.2, Kernel 2.6.8 and Kernel

Sirs, Having installed very happily the latest Debian cd set with 2.6 AMD64 kernel, I have found a need to change back to the 2.4, to enable my scsi dmx3191d module to operate. There seems to be a problem with the 2.6 kernel /scsi/dmx3191d module. Can I re-install using the 2.4.27-AMD64

Hi John, so, after ~13 hours of building python2.4 every 30mins caused 882 transitions. My cpu is currently idling at 1001MHz 1.1V and there's no sign of error. I'm sorry but i'm unable to reproduce your problem. :( Let me remind you that i've an Athlon 64 2800+ (130nm) running on an Asus
