Hello,
I'm running a shuttle xpc st 20g5, with an ATI Radeon Xpress 200 on board

and on every window redraw the desktop flickers horizontally.
I do not have those problems with the std vesa driver.

I've just bought my first AMD64 system and went to sid without too many

Hello there,
after 1,5 years I will try to go from testing i386 back to amd64.
It seams that amd64 is now more stable then 1,5 years ago.
By the way I will ask what is necessary to have in the source list for
testing? There are some backports available?
What is the best way to update a 1,5 years

Why make wild guesses?
Simply run
LIBGL_DEBUG=verbose glxinfo
and it will complain about what is wrong.

this is how my system looks like - i have working acceleration:

LIBGL_DEBUG=verbose fglrxinfo
tell you? any error messages? i recall havind problems with acceleration

I looked into my system, and I suppose, the reaeson, why my ATI-acceleration
does not work, might be due to the 64-Bit incompabiltiy. I found two
