Hello, I recently upgraded the hard disk on my amd64 laptop and, since I was at it, I decided to give a spin to LVM partitions. I made use of the guided partitioning in the etch installer to do it, and it made a small /boot and the rest in a large volume group including both / and swap partition.

Hello, I have 64 bit AMD processor and run 32 bit debian testing, and until this month i use k7 flavour prebuilt kernel. But now i see that k7 is dropped.( do someone know reason to drop k7?) i not run amd64 flavour because i hear than running 64 bit kernel and 32 bit userland caused problems. (i
