Opera 10

Hi, Is anyone using Opera 10.0 with amd64. I have installed it, but it is slow as to be unuseable. This is apparently only an issue on amd64, since it works fine on x386 on my home box. Does anyone have a clue as to what the problem is? I ran strace -c opera with the following output:
