wacom tablet and gcc versions

Does anybody have wacom driver from wacom-kernel-source working with kernel 2.6.8 on the current sid? I can build module package, with a small caveat however, and load the driver. But I think it doesn't get control over the device. usbhid module is disabled. Building problem was in gcc version:
