After installing the udev package, I met with the following problem: after the
system boot, the KDM tries to start and fails. The X-server log says:

(**) NVIDIA(0): Depth 24, (--)
The problem doesn't depend on X-server version, I tried both X.org and
Xfree86.
The most interesting is that if I will start the kdm manually
via /etc/init.d/kdm start -- it starts fine.
If I remove the 'udev' - everything works fine.

Is nvidia module autoloaded on startup? If not, you need to append nvidia
to the end of /etc/modules

are some problems with libraries in etch/sid - they seem to be doing
transition to the new version of Word Perfect support library, named
libwpd8c2 instead of libwpd8
