well if memory is bad, you can get a segfault easily without the
software being bad,
trying to repair with broken memory is leading to more problems imho ...

check your memory (yes it's going to be long, but that's almost always
the reason of reiserfs failures)
I am stressing hard reiserfs on various amd64/em64t boxes, no pbl so
far.
every box I found corrupting filesystems were having :
1 - bad hard drives that a low scan confirmed
or 2 - bad memory

Hi all,
I find quite strange that amd64 still has not the newly libc6 (3.1r2) that was
patched for an amd64 bug, any reason why we still don't have it in sarge-amd64 ?
on i386 sarge that is 2.3.2.ds1-22sarge3
on amd64 I only have : 2.3.2.ds1-22
am I missing something ? ;)

Hi together,
I recently installed Debian OpenOffice.org packages from
deb ftp://ftp-fourier.ujf-grenoble.fr/linux/oo64/ ./
Everything work great, but: I can't open .odt (well all .od*) files and
also the .sxw (all
first of all, use the cvs version
secondly, grab the patch I posted on their bug tracker (else it won't
work on 64 bits)
and finally, the plugin does not work :), but the commandline tool works
pretty fine.
appart from that, it looks promising but it definitely need some work.

Often, this is caused by a mismatch of e.g., Installed-Size between the

Hi,
from my various experiences with XFS :
it sucks when you change kernel version and even more when you change
from architecture.
I was running it on a bi-opteron box with 64 bits kernel on 32 bits
userland. I got tons of problems with their tools
