I believe this is because libesd-alsa0 is architecture specific in the
build and amd64 is not in the list of Architectures. I seem to remeber I
had to get the src add amd64 to to the architectures and debuild it. It
then worked fine. I have to admit, I don't know how to bug report
this

Its always hard to say when a motherboard get a bad wrap how many
experiences its based on. Just to help the count, I have been running
the K8N Neo2 Platinum (with SATA drives, IDE DVD-RW) with no apparent
issues since December.

I noticed that there is no alsa variant built in libesd (i.e.
libesd-alsa0). It seems just a matter of editing the control file and
adding amd64 to the architecture specific builds. It seems to work fine
on my system. How does one push this change upstream?
