Hi all!
I'm going to buy Nokia 6600 smartphone and I'd like to hear if someone
was able to use it to synchronize PIM data with Evolution. I've found a
number of sites dedicated to this issue, but I want to know if there are
any AMD64 specific caveats?

I'm not using any Debian specific Java packages.
You can use a JDK from Blackdown or Sun 1.5 built for AMD64. Install Ant
from Apache site.
I'm a Java developer and I'm using Java for really heavy projects with
success.

Hi all!
Currently I'm using pure64 repository. Is it worth to switch to gcc-3.4
repository? Can I simply switch to gcc-3.4 and update the system? Which
repository will be official AMD64 port - pure64 or gcc-3.4?

Hi all!
Thanks for your help.
I got it working by loading powernow-k8 module and installing
powernowd as Harald Dunkel suggested.

I'm using 2.6.9-9-amd64-k8 kernel, the latest one.
But probably you will need to load cpufreq-userspace module as well.
And check if you have /sys mounted

I don't think it is possible.
I have AMD64 3000 and my stepping are: 2000, 1800 and 800.
I think it's fixed.

I have the same problem

I've tried to get it working, I mean to lower the CPU frequency
automatically by loading powernow_k8 module, but without any success.
I guess I have to do something else to get it working. Any ideas?
I'm using Gigabyte GA-K8 NS motherboard with NVidia 3 250 chipset.

to
rmmod sata_nv and modprobe sata_sil - but nothing has happened.
Probably I have to recompile the kernel with custom options? Will you
please to post your kernel config file?
Thanks a lot.
Slava Risenberg.
