I had to apply the patch at

(4-level-pagetables.diff) as well to make it compile on an AMD64. Kernel
2.6.11-ck2 (contains 2.6.11.2 patches).
Now to try it...

Don't worry, but if you're going back to it, note that I also got a
reject from your patch. It was easy to fix
But the fglrx modules refuse to compile with a 2.6.11 kernel !
you have to patch the fglrx drivers for 2.6.11.
Have a look at rage3d.com forum pages.
if you can't find it I can send you mine (taken from there).

out of curiosity I prepared a patch for fglrx-8.10.19 to compile against
kernel 2.6.11:
