I am new user and trying to install Debian AMD64
through Sid -AMD64-netinst CD on my machine that has
following specifications.
1. CPU: AMD64 3400+
2. Marvel Yukon Gigabit Ethernet 10/100/1000Base-T
Adapter
3. Video card: GeForce FX5200
Currently I installed new kernel 2.6.8-10-amd64-k8 and
I install the xserver by apt-get install
xserver-xfree86. This time when I run startx, I get
the message like followings. In fact, I installed
gnome and gdm too and I can't start gdm. Sorry for
long message.

I install the xserver by apt-get install

Did you set it up? It's not finding your mouse.
I don't remember what the proper tool to do so on Debian is, I guess:
dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xfree86. I don't know how you setup the nVidia
modules though, as I don't own one of those cards.

You are probably installing this with the installer downloaded from NVidia
site. You can get the same binary the debian way by:
