I have a workaround for the reboot issue. To recap, this was regarding
the Chaintech MK8M800 motherboard which hangs on reboot under Linux 2.6
series kernels.
To get around this problem, either set the i8042.reset kernel boot
parameter (this may have adverse affect on PS/2 devices) or apply the

The model is a Chaintech SK8T800 socket 754 Micro-ATX. It's for a
server, so VESA video is good enough.
Otherwise, are there other Micro-ATX mainboards known to work?
