I was able to work around this bug by doing this before building:
export LD_PRELOAD=/lib/libc.so.6
Still don't have a successful build (it's still building), but I was
able to get past that point.

Eventually the build failed at:
Making: ../../../unxlngx4.pro/slo/vbaapplication.obj
