Hello, Well, Lennart, you 're a savior :) I just got ahold of a Dell PowerEdge 1800 with xeons and really wanted to install a fully 64 bits compiled debian system on it. The "official" netinst for amd64 comes with a 2.6.8 kernel, which works really bad with dell's PERC4/Di SATA Raid controller

Hi, Just got a new GA-I8945GMF board with 2 x SATA II drives. Using a Pentium 4 630 (EM64T) I have the full AMD64 CD disc 1 installer, and its having trouble seeing the drives. I have configured the sata drives to exist outside the IDE Primary and secondary controllers from the BIOS. I'm not sur
