I enabled the http2 and ruid2 modules. I have had the ruid2 module
running fine for ages without a problem, and just tried enabling
http2. I left http2 switched off by explicitly writing "Protocols

Followup: this is defintely the problem; the configure.in file
specifically says AC_PREREQ(2.13) so that autoconf2.13 is used,
whereas actually autoconf2.50 appears to be required. It built fine
without autoconf2.13 being
