Package: libaprutil1-dev
Version: 1.2.12+dfsg-4
Severity: serious
File: /usr/bin/apu-config
Justification: Makes other packages ftbfs

Hi,

the mysql support has recently been enabled in the libapr package.
One of my packages (kdesvn) uses apu-config to determine the linker
flags:
# apu-config --libs --ldflags --link-ld
which now prints
-L/usr/lib/mysql -lmysqlclient_r -L/usr/lib -laprutil-1

1.2.12+dfsg-3 had
-L/usr/lib -laprutil-1

So it seems, that libaprutil1-dev should have to add a dependency on
libmysqlclient15-dev. (you can also check /usr/lib/libaprutil-1.la,
which lists mysql under dependency_libs).

As a consequence, kdesvn currently ftbfs: #482220

Alternatively, disabling mysql support in libaputil would be (my preferred)
alternative.

I don't really want, that the installation of kdesvn pulls in the rather
heavy weith mysql libs.

Cheers,
Michael
