asus a7n8x motherboard with onboard nforce nic and 2nd intel pro 100 S nic. tried the latest sarge netinst from http://cdimage.debian.org/pub/cdimage-testing/daily/i386/current/sarge-i386-netinst.iso (on the 27th) tried the 2.4 and 2.6 kernel (linux and linux26) and it hangs with the cd drive.

I just tried the netinst CD image from: http://www.debian.org/devel/debian-installer/ When I got to the stage of installing GRUB, I chose to install on fd0. It failed, and all I could do was go back and install it somewhere else. I tried: (fd0) fd0 "fd0" "(fd0)" /dev/fd0 "/dev/fd0" None worked.

I installed windows 2003 server[1] and it made a 40 gb ntfs partition. If I select the partiton and resize, it says the minimum size is 512 bytes. I told it to resize it down to 1 gb, and it went back to the main menu with no error message (or size change). I guess the minimum size is not properly
