Hello,
I have downloaded IA64 images and it seems that they are not bootable.
By comparing the files of these images with i386 images I found that some
files where missing in the root directory.
Do you know why these images are not bootable?

Found a solution to the problem
I burned the ISO onto a DVD media, rather than CD, and it works perfectly.
Come to think of it, this is the first time I've used a CD to burn a
debian ISO onto, and this is the first time I've come across the problem
as well.

To reproduce, you need to make sure you select "continue without network
mirror".

I would like to submit the attached patch for finish-install to switch
console device detection there to using /var/run/console-device, which
is the authoritative source of this information for kernels >= 2.6.38
(see my recent changes to rootskel for details).

I just got my TS-219 out and loaded Debian installer without any
problems.
I believe you're loading an old Debian installer image. Can you tell
me how you load Debian installer?
