testing hppa installation failed

Hello, I try to install the testing release on a HP 9000 model 712/60. The installer was much slower than the one from woody. Then as i let the installer partition my hard disk it did not create a PALO bootable partition. Is it an error or could it works without such a partition ? Then it hang dur
