The SERPRO [0] team in charge of Debian d-i RC2 tests performed
successfull installations on HP-Proliant-ML150 and DELL Optiplex 755
machines.
The next d-i RC2 test will be at a HP ML380 machine.

Both the commands gave blank outputs.
I guess it is because the /boot content is in a separated ext3 partition, and
the remaining files of each OS are on separated lvm volumes.

This bug report could be closed, as it contains various bugs and some of them
were solved.
The pppoe problem persists. Another specific bug report is open (tracked to
modutils 263224 and 262942).
I installed newer versions (at other machines) and the XFree86 problems
persisted until 3 weeks
