This was apparently fixed here
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=694082
I'm presuming this fix is not in b4. Could some one confirm? Should this
go in the errata for b4 until a DI build is out?
Thanks,
Shyamal

since December I thought I'd ask before filing a
new bug: is this new/unknown? Or is it just me? Should I file an

This is purely for the record - no problems to report on a
straightforward installation. Until this daily build one thing or the
other always broke ;-)

Does this ("not for sarge, needs rootskel 1.11") mean the 970FX will
not be supported by sarge?
Also, the test case kernel/tests/powerpc/g5.cpuinfo is for a
PowerMac7,2 (970). There is not test for a 970FX PowerMac7,3.

So, yes, I think the partition names don't freak out the last 2 or 3
generations of MacOS software. If I'm missing some obvious test let me
know, I should be able to try it.

rge ppc installation manual needs an update for the
powermac exception then? Should I file a bug against the manual? I
could probably write a patch for the manual (in English) if it was
desired - the source for the manual is in svn on alioth, right?
