Comments/Problems:

Upon reaching 82% of installing base system, on the kernel section (either
2.6 or 2.4), it hangs. I left it for hours and eventually all file
descriptors were used up. It seems it could not make the initrd image for
the kernel. Processes were spwaned over and over again (judging by 'ps'
on the 2nd console). This happened using all the modes of installation
(expert26 etc.). Happens with both RC2 and latest snapshot. Is it not
possible to install to RAID?

        Thanks,

        Derek
