The "B" one from
Alessandro Polverini and Andrea Mottola
looks better.
Why does it look better - here is the reasoning.
MS copies almost everything in their core os from
unix/linux.
They are very good at graphics and presenation.
Linux community can atleast get/learn better
visualization from

I like this one, because it is very to the point. Ok, it's a bit of an
'Alien'-theme, but I really like black backgrounds.
I like volkan's first screen as well. Although it's not very debianish, I
still like it.

I vote for that one.
It is the closest tto the one currently offered as logo for lilo
in sarge.
The one from Volkan YAZICI is really nice but lacks an evident swirl.

Some comments on the three posible boot-screens.
Screen #1
I don't like it. Not that it isn't good, but it's not my style.
Screen #2
The font is a bit too big. And because it uses the same color-scheme as
the first screen, it's not really my style eith
I think the logo by Mark Riedesel (the first in the page[1]), is the
best. It's stylish/modern but quite simple, it's nice.
The second has the `Debian Linux' write too embossed, while the third
looks too much like `Alien'... :P

Hello all,
As you may know Sarge is to have a boot logo on bootup through Syslinux
(hence on i386 only for now.) I've set up a web page gallery of the
possible candidates for said logo here:
http://sloth.voxel.net/~joshk/d-i-logos/
It currently houses three logos by these fine artists:
