Okay, when the window will be opened for it, then? I'm curious.

Hi Hideki,
I'm afraid your fix in choose_partition/lvm/do_option is broken. It's
causing problems for other people trying to use LVM in d-i. See
#922100, which I've just confirmed locally.

Hi,
Here's a step to reproduce this bug
---
1. boot from d-i media and start installer
2. create encrypted LVM volume
3. select "go back" and "Change language" to "Japanese"
(or other multi-byte locale)
4. select "論理ボリュームマネージ

Hi,
While installing with d-i buster alpha3, I've tried to remove Logical Volume
but couldn't. At VT4 shows below error

This problem might have been a fluke when new udebs were pushed to
squeeze, as my test today did not show the problem, even thought it
was a reinstall of a Debian Edu installation from a few days ago.
Will have to do another test to verify it, but thought it best to
mention it here.
Happy hacking
the lvm
volume group name already being used is presented and break the automatic
partitioning.
pere, eek. can you file a bug in the bts please?!

As I at first wanted to file this bug as serious, I've set a
justification-pseudo header... :)
cheers,

Thanks for your response Fran. Unfortunately, it wasn't the above that fixed
it for me, it was "d-i partman-auto-lvm/new_vg_name string vg00" (I'm using
etch by the way, forgot to mention that earlie

Hi,
Can you override the default lvm volume name used by d-i using a preseed
file (priority=critical)?
By default it seems to use the hostname which isn't what I want and would
like to override it to vg00 for instance.
I found this entry somewhere by googling but it doesn't seem to have the
