Grant, thank you for your work to date on this bug. (BTW, it would be

Hello,
I have patched current yaird with Scott's patch and it really works great
with swsup on my system. So it would great if it was included in the official
Package: gdb
Our gdb doesn't work on PIE binaries. I don't know why you'd ever want
to do this, but right now samba is linked that way. I'm just going to
file a bug over there asking them to stop, but this should probably be
fixed anyway. Supposedly fedora's gdb works; I haven't tried it.

Hi,
I've run into this same problem, and it's very annoying. So I made a
quick fix to cause spamd not to abort just because DNS is not available;
it just sets a flag to pretend that DNS was never asked for in the first
place, and continues normal operation. The patch
This appears to have been fixed by an upgrade in some other package(?),
as I haven't changed any locale settings, and the metacity version on my
system is still 1:2.10.3-2, but the menus now contain the American
spellings.
At any rate this should be marked as resolved.

Severity: minor
Hi,
While debsumming my system, I noticed some aspell-en files FAILED (ie.
MD5 mismatch) and reinstalled aspell-en to no luck. I also got
warnings when reporting this bug due to the fact that debsums
aspell-en will return errors.

Hi Jorg,
Thank you for the reply. Running the command you mentioned works fine.
There is therefore no bug as such, but could I suggest that the
