Hello.
Attached is a patch dealing with yafc temporary files.
It is currently using make_unique_filename() to generate pseudo-unique
filenames, and use them as temporary files.
There are two problems:
-hard coding the directories isn't a good idea
-there is the same security risks a

I uninstalled everything, and then re-installed nvidia-glx and
nvidia-kernel-2.6.16-1-k7. They are now versions 1.0.8756-4 and 1.0.8756+1

the problem was on my side. The mirror I use for updates is broken and
I did not get all of the required Xorg packages for the upgrade. I've
moved to a new mirror, did a full dist-upgrade this morning, and the
