There is no other package that depends on it, the GTK+/Gnome world has

It seems that in previous releases of urwcyr, the Latin glyphs for some
fonts just had the wrong metrics. This claims to have been fixed in
pre41, and my print tests confirm that this is the case.
The new upstream version (8.30.3) introduces XVideo support for Xorg
7.1. This would seem to be a good reason to upgrade ASAP. Perhaps you
might want to just skip over 8.29.6?

I think the problem is that the message has an invalid date.
It seems that some spammer is creating those lately. I've seen a rash
of these reports.
I will merge this with the others and will try to develop a fix ASAP.
