*.bin files from /var/cache/apt/.
Apt-get now works again.
At first I thought that Gordons issue and mine were different due to the
totally different backtraces.

According to upstream this was simply broken for the 0.10.1 release.
It's fixed in CVS. I checked a copy out today and updated the
gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg package to use it; the results are at
http://robots.org.uk/debian/unofficial/ffmpeg/ if anyone wants to test
it.

attaching an gdb session to chronyd under 2.6.19, but could do so it it
